Pite River
THE LENGTH OF THE PITE RIVER ITSELF IS OVER 40 MILES. THE GREAT LAKES MAVASJAURE (NOT INCLUDED IN THE NATURA 2000 AREA) AND PIESKEHAURE AT THE NORWEGIAN BORDER ARE THE GREAT SOURCE LAKES TO PITEÄLVEN. THE RIVER HAS MANY AND LARGE SEALS AND SEVERAL GIANT LAKES SUCH AS. TJEGGELVAS, RAPPEN AND VUOLVOJAURE.
Piteälven may be divided into three parts, SCALES river from MAVASJAURE / Pieskehaure DOWN TO Tjeggelvas, forest river FROM Tjeggelvas down to Storforsen (Europe's largest unbound waterfalls), AND SHORE river from Storforsen and down to PITEÅ and the Gulf.
THE PITEÄLVEN HAS RELATIVELY RECEIVED SUBSTRATES, BUT AMONG THE LARGEST IS VARJISÅN AND ABMOÄLVEN. IN THE PROJECT, IT IS THE FLOWERS OF THE STOCK SALES AND PARTS OF THE WHITE STREAM THAT ARE TO BE RESTORED.
